1. Training a. Three nights a week b. Attendance is mandatory c. Wear practice uniforms (DiaDry) 2. Team management a. Volunteers: Please consider what you can do to help with team "tasks" such as: i. Fund raising (car washes, etc.) ii. Chaperones for each out of town event (Four per event) 5. Expectations: a. Players i. Attendance at all team functions is mandatory ii. Be on time and be prepared iii. Communicate directly with the coach iv. Take responsibility for your development v. Work hard and have fun b. Parents i. Let the players think for themselves ii. Stay positive at all times

Allow players to handle questions in regards to
playing time, etc iv. Support the philosophy of the team and the club. c. Coach i. Be on time and prepared ii. Responsible for developing every player on the team iii. Facilitate an environment for each player to fulfill their soccer ‘dreams’ 6. Attendance Policy: a. Attendance at all team functions is mandatory. i. If the team is meeting, then you are expected to be there. b. At those times when missing training can not be avoided it is the player’s responsibility to contact the coach prior to the absence. c. Consequences: i. Excused absence with contact prior to session: 1. Player does not start the next game 2. Excused absences are for family, school, health, & religion ii. Excused absence without contact prior to session: 1. Player will not play the first half of the next game iii. Unexcused absence with contact prior to session 1. Player will not play the first half of the next game and will not start second half. iv. Unexcused absence without contact prior to session v. Player will not play next game and there will be a meeting with the coach, parent and player to discuss the situation 7. Travel: a. Coach i. Will set itinerary, including times, places to eat, etc. ii. Choose chaperones b. Chaperone responsibilities i. One chaperone per room of players ii. Transport players to and from games and activities at events iii. Safety and well being of players iv. Misc. issues as they arise – laundry, food, etc. c. Travel Coordinator i. Reservations for Air, Hotel, Car rental 1. Only for players, chaperones, and coach ii. Coordinate with Coach to align travel schedule with itinerary. d. Player Guidelines i. Be aware of itinerary and any changes that may occur 1. Have chaperones and coach’s cell phone numbers in phone ii. NEVER GO ANYWHERE ALONE!!!!! iii. Behave responsibly and appropriately at all times 1. Should a player be unable to behave appropriately, the coach reserves the right to send that player home immediately at the expense of the parent. Additionally, depending on the severity of the infraction, further consequences may be administered iv. Respect and take care of your teammates v. Room Captains – responsible for your rooms 1. On time, ready, room clean, etc. e. Conflict resolution i. Should an issue arise the proper way to address and resolve the issue is as follows: 1. Player – Room captain – Room chaperone – Coach 2. If the issue is with the room captain, then the player may go directly to the Chaperone.
